Job Description:

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating leads, building customer relationships, and supporting the sales team in achieving their targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Manager – Business Development (Prepaid Metering Solutions) will spearhead efforts to promote and implement prepaid metering solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, forging partnerships with key stakeholders, and driving sales to establish the company as a leading provider of advanced metering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify demand and opportunities for prepaid metering solutions in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory policies related to energy metering and smart grid solutions.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets for prepaid metering solutions.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with real estate developers, housing societies, facility management firms, and utilities for adopting prepaid metering systems.
  • Lead negotiations and prepare proposals for deploying prepaid metering solutions in new and existing properties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, resident welfare associations, and energy consultants.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and customize prepaid metering solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring seamless installation and operation.
  • Advocate for integrating prepaid metering systems during the infrastructure planning phase of new construction and retrofitting projects.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns, presentations, and promotional content to drive client interest and adoption of prepaid metering solutions.
  • Represent the company at energy forums, real estate expos, and industry conferences to enhance visibility and generate business leads.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine business strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market developments, and the impact of regulatory changes on prepaid metering adoption.

Key Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

Experience:

  • 4–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in energy solutions, smart metering, or infrastructure services.
  • Proven track record of driving sales for prepaid metering solutions or related energy management systems.
  • Experience working with real estate developers, housing societies, utilities, and commercial clients.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of energy metering technologies, smart grid systems, and regulatory frameworks related to energy billing.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market dynamics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for innovation in energy management and sustainable solutions.
